The positive effects Snapchat streaks have on my relationships with my annoying best friends.
Snapchat is great source to use when it comes to keeping in touch with friends who you aren’t fortunate with seeing every day. Keeping in touch also becomes fun in another way because of a Snapchat exclusive called streaks. Every day that you send a picture to a friend counts as one day toward your streak together. I have snap streaks with both of my best friends, Ahjaneya who’s at Central and Dajauna who lives in California.
How do "streaks" effect my relationships? How long are my streaks? Do they actually like me?
Ahjaneya and I are used to seeing each other during the year but we still spent time on our streak which stands at 701 days. My other best friend Dajauna is in a whole different state and with us being close for years now, keeping contact and staying just as close is important to us. Our streak today stands at 291 days which isn’t much, but its almost a year so we’re doing good. We all like to keep in touch with each other but we also make it a necessity to keep our snap streaks going. The streak forces us to at least have some sort of communication making it hard to ignore each other or not talk every day. Our determination to keep our snap streaks going causes my relationship with both of my best friends strong and consistent. (To answer that third question, no... no they don't)
